Maadai Kara - BBC Radio 4 - Jan. 4th 4.30pm

A documentary about the Maadai Kara will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on Jan. 4th 4.30pm. This has been produced by Ruth Hedges at Whistledown. It includes interviews with ethno-musicologists Carole Pegg, Keith Howard and Zoya Surazhov (interviewed by Chagat Almashev), throat singer and musician Michael Ormiston, and is presented by Benjamin Zephaniah.
